What’s New: November 2024

I hope you've been wrapping up warm as the weather gets colder!

My page anniversary is this month, so please watch my Instagram stories as I may do something to celebrate on the 19th or 20th.

Anyway, here's the latest news!

NEW WORKSHOP

What is the relationship between bi/pansexuality and non-monogamy? How does bi/panphobia show up in non-monogamous spaces, and what can we do to combat this? What should bi/pansexual non-monogamous people look out for to empower themselves in sex and relationships?

Watch me and bisexual icon Zachary Zane answer all of these questions and more in our next workshop, 'Bisexuality and Non-Monogamy: Battling Biphobia And Embracing Bisexual Joy', where we will cover:

- Being Bisexual and Non-Monogamous: misconceptions about bi/pansexuality and non-monogamy, where they come from, how to combat them, and what that means for people who identify with both

- Battling Biphobia in Non-Monogamy: issues that specifically affect bi/pansexual people in non-monogamous spaces, such as the One Penis/Pussy Policy and unicorn hunting, and how to identify the red flags so you can protect yourself from overt and covert biphobia

- Embracing Joyful Bisexual Non-Monogamy: how bi/pansexuality can be empowering for some non-monogamous people, and our own personal journeys with owning both of these identities and living our most authentic lives

 - and on top of this, we will share personal anecdotes, mistakes we've made, and hard-earned lessons from our own bisexual polyamorous lives.

As usual, even if you can't make the date, you get a copy of the recording, so get a ticket anyway!

RECENT HIGHLIGHTS

While I am always committed to showing how a polyamorous life can work through my public content, there are some private details and stories I prefer to keep for those I know are truly invested in directly supporting me. Recently, I contracted genital herpes for the first time, and I shared with my Patreon supporters how I navigated disclosing that with all of my current partners.

I also shared a video about polyamory and toxic masculinity, with some never-seen-before insights about an ex of 4 years I left in early 2023 after he was radicalised by the online far-right.

Also, I reached 175k followers on Instagram and did a public Q&A - and the hour-long video, along with all of my previous Q&As, is exclusively available to my supporters. All patrons also get an exclusive monthly Q&A, so you don't have to wait until my next follower milestone to ask me your burning questions!

That's not all I released this month - I truly spoil my audience with my thoughts on toxic positivity in polyamory, commentary on a Tiktok phenomenon of exposing cheaters online, my take and advice on swinger cruises, and a comparitive analysis of queer polyamorous vampirism in two popular TV shows. And of course, I had the monthly Q&A with my patrons!

My Patreon is where I share my most vulnerable side - my worst mistakes, life lessons, and so much more. Becoming a paid subscriber means you get access to all of this content, everything before it, and everything after - not to mention 20% off peer support and my workshops.

So if you're not subscribed yet, here's your chance. And, here's a sneak peek of what's coming up...

UPCOMING CONTENT ON PATREON

This month's theme on my Patreon is CONFLICT - how to have it, how to navigate it, how to move on from it. On November 10th, I'm dropping a video titled 'Disclosure Boundaries, Trust, and Feeling Blindsided', and on November 20th, I'm dropping this doozy...

I'll also be posting content about stepping off the relationship escalator, top 5 sex myths you should stop believing in, and a media analysis of the polyamorous/non-monogamous episodes in the TV show 'Couple's Therapy', and my thoughts on how it was handled as a trainee therapist myself!

If you want to watch these as they drop, subscribe now.

OTHER UPDATES

I was on two podcasts in October: Bisexual Killjoy, where I talked about the intersection of bisexuality and polyamory, and In Bed With Alexa, where I talked about non-monogamy, neurodivergence, and pleasure.

I was also interviewed for Mashable on why you shouldn't buy sex toys from Shein, HuffPost on whether exposing cheaters on Tiktok is ethical, Allure on swinger cruises, Digg on common sex myths, and The Times on polycules.

Also, I was at the BCreator Awards last month, where I was nominated for Sex and Relationships Creator of the Year. I didn't win - but it was still amazing that I was nominated, and I had a great time!
