What’s New: January 2025

New year, new me - but first off, let's take a look at what's happened in my world in the last month...

NEW YouTube Content!

Over the last week, I’ve released 8 new videos on my YouTube channel reviewing non-monogamous representation in films and TV. Watch me explain how Poor Things is an autistic polyamorous allegory, how Past Lives transcends relationship style, why I believe Challengers is not about polyamory, but kinkand so much more.

There are nearly a thousand videos on my YouTube channel for you to peruse, including my 14-episode podcast miniseries from 2021 and lots of workshops I did at festivals!

If you like what you see, don't forget to subscribe 😉 and if you want to see more media reviews, I have 30 more posts EXCLUSIVELY on my Patreon. My Patreon hosts all the content that would be copyrighted or taken down on YouTube, so if you want to see me reacting to all episodes of the reality show Open House, a breakdown of polyamory in Bridgerton, and even how Lady Chatterley’s Lover portrayed a don’t-ask-don’t-tell relationship, subscribe now.

Updates From My Video Diary!

How do you navigate a friend with benefits relationship? Many of you don't know this about me, but my longest FWB dynamic has been going on nearly a decade. Recently, we went on a trip to Athens together, and he agreed to do a Q&A with me to answer some questions about our connection from my followers, like: why aren’t we dating? How do our other partners feel about us? How do we handle safer s-x? How did we deescalate so successfully? I'm very proud of this resource we created together, and the hour-long Q&A is now available here.

I also have another video reviewing how I've changed my approach to sex and dating this year, going into detail about chemistry vs compatibility, gaining confidence in my queerness, and more. While I am always committed to showing how a polyamorous life can work through my public content, there are some private details and stories I prefer to keep for those I know are truly invested in directly supporting me.

And that's not all for this month on Patreon—I've also posted content on travelling as a polycule, legal rights for polyamorous people, queerness and kink, and a long Q&A containing details on how to repair a relationship after cheating, among other things! There's so much you're missing out on if you're not subscribed— and you also get 20% off peer support and workshops on top of everything else!

If you want to watch these as they drop, here's the link to join—or if you know someone who'd love exclusive membership, you can now gift a subscription to my Patreon to whoever you like!

Extra, Extra, Read All About It...

In case you missed it, I have a polyamory advice column at Gay Times, and the latest issue is out—this one's about the intersection of sex work and non-monogamy!

If you're interested in more behind-the-scenes content, I post all my recordings with the journalists who interviewed me for their articles exclusively on Patreon. So if you want to know all the things I said that didn't make it into the actual article, join my Patreon for a library of voice notes containing so much more insight and detail than what is shown to the public.

Need Support?

Is non-monogamy your New Year's Resolution for 2025? Is there a big change you're navigating for the new year? I'm here to support you through it if you need me, so don't hesitate to reach out through my peer support service if you need emotional support, advice, resources, or just a space to vent about all things non-monogamy.
