Non-Monogamy Peer Support
Looking for advice, resource recommendations, emotional support, a fresh perspective, or a listening ear on all things non-monogamy? Do you need to talk to someone who shares your lived experience, and won’t judge you for who you are or what you want? Are you feeling lost, confused, anxious, or insecure about managing multiple connections? I’m here to help - let’s talk.
My name is Leanne, and I am a certified sex and relationships educator, and trainee psychosexual and relationship therapist who has been actively non-monogamous since 2016. As a polyamorous, bisexual, agender, autistic and ADHD, and multicultural Asian femme, I have an intimate understanding of how it feels to be misunderstood, pathologised, stereotyped, marginalised, and othered across multiple intersections of identity. I offer support not just about non-monogamous relationships in general, but also the unique issues that can come up regarding race, gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, and more.
My sessions are a safe and confidential space for you to identify, process, and understand your thoughts and feelings, get advice and resource recommendations, receive emotional support or a fresh perspective, or even just to vent to someone who ‘gets it’. After the session, you will also receive a follow-up email with a list of resources specifically customised to your needs.
Since 2021, I have worked with 1000+ clients from 50+ countries. Wherever you are in the world, let’s work together.
-
My sessions are client-led, meaning you decide what you want to get out of our work together. Some clients wish for me to hold space and offer support for their difficult emotions and discuss past experiences to inform their current challenges, while others desire a more practical, present-focused, and advice-based approach. I will collaborate with you to tailor the session to your needs, and your autonomy is my priority - while I may have knowledge and training, you are the ultimate expert on your own life and how you want to live it.
I am currently in therapy training (see below for my qualifications), but I will not do anything beyond what I am qualified to do e.g. issue formal diagnoses, create treatment strategies, or help during a mental health crisis. Please remember that peer support is not a replacement for therapeutic counselling.
